Many thanks to Laura Ferro for the choreography and Lee for her Chinese folk and Tai Chi dance. As well as the other dancers at Faculdade de Motricidade Humana for inspiring me with their movements in front of the camera.

About yagodequay

Hi, thanks for checking out my page. Being someone who was born in Brazil, lives in Portugal, and holds a Spanish nationality, is perhaps what sparked my interest in cross-cultural artistic expression. In-between these worlds I acquired broad experience in music, dance, video and ethnomusicology. Curiosity and drive were the engines that helped me pursue the research and practice of these areas in far-flung regions such as India and Panama. My academic experience brought the fields of art and technology together. I graduated Berklee College of Music with a Professional Music degree and two “Dean’s List of Academic Achievement” awards. I am currently enrolled in the Masters in Multimedia at FEUP (Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto), and my focus is Interactive Music and Sound Design. My thesis is about capturing dance movement for the purpose of controlling music.
